Some of our members enjoying the views from the London Eye
The PADCA Friendship Club has been running for many years. Our aim is to get retired people out of the house and join us for a few hours of fun and hopefully make some new friends. We have approximately fifty members who meet every week on Friday afternoons from 1.15pm to 3.15pm in the main Hall. We serve tea and biscuits and give you the opportunity to have a good old natter. We also have a free raffle.
We organise a different activity each week, i.e., quizzes, games, bingo, music quizzes, joke sessions etc. We also arrange an outing at least one a year and go out for lunch together occasionally. Our last outing was on the London Eye and a boat trip down the River Thames which was fab.
At Christmas we have a big party which everybody really enjoys. Our members are a great bunch of people who have formed firm friendships, often going on trips and holidays together. If you would like to come along and give us a test drive, we would love to see you.
