Pinner Sketch Club attracts a diverse range of talented artists of all ages from across Harrow and beyond. Currently 120 members enjoy a lively programme of painting opportunities, workshops, demonstrations, art lectures, ‘crits’ and a variety of social events.
During the summer months members enjoy ‘al fresco’ painting in outdoor locations, all day most Wednesdays and on some Thursday evenings. Otherwise, weekly meetings are held on Wednesday afternoons at St Luke’s Catholic Church Hall, Love Lane and on the first and third Thursday evening of each month at Pinner Methodist Church Hall, Avenue Road.
Non-painters may join the club as associate members. This entitles them to attend all meetings other than painting sessions, enjoy social occasions and have the opportunity to help run the club. Some members are distinguished artists in their own right and have exhibited at the Royal Academy, Mall Galleries and other prestigious art galleries.
Our popular annual art exhibition of original paintings and sculpture in Pinner Parish Church Hall now includes a mini exhibition at The Attic Gallery in Lines of Pinner and Art in the Village supported by many local shops and businesses.
